Pavercolour is a special coloured powder pigment which can be mixed with transparent Paverpol to create a variety of colours. It can also be mixed with our varnishes to give a coloured highlight effect to your finished piece.
Working with Pavercolor
Mix Pavercolour with a little water before you add it to Paverpol. This prevents it from becoming lumpy.
Pavercolour metal colours will lose their lustre if mixed with Paverpol. The best finish is obtained by brushing the dried piece of work with the Pavercolour mixed with varnish afterwards.
All Pavercolours can be simply mixed with water to create water paint. However this paint can only be used for indoor pieces of work.
For outdoor objects (i.e. garden ornaments, garden sculpture) you can mix Pavercolours with Josefine varnish. It then becomes a proper outdoor paint that can be used for painting, brushing and adding patinas.
Pavercolour is available in 30 colours.
